From design and horticultural advice to full design services, it always starts with the initial phone conversation between the two of us. We will discuss your project and goals; I will ask you to fill out a design questionnaire; and we can schedule a site visit.

I must be on site for design advice to begin (to see the site in person and feel the lay of the land). I charge for this visit as an initial consultation.

Full Landscape Designs include a Hardscape Plan, Planting Plan, Plant List, illustrations or sketches of design intent, and a Demolition Plan when needed.  Finished plans are bid-ready for a licensed contractor to install, a skilled do-it-yourself homeowner to build, or a combination of the two.

A Partial Design might include a back yard or a front yard only.  It may include all of the Full Design services and is simply smaller.  Or it may be a rough Conceptual Design (the half-way point of a full design), showing the major elements and an overview of the big picture.

After-the-Design services include referrals to contractors, help interpreting bids and making comparisons, collaborative work with installers, hands-on plants or materials selection, and site visits during critical times during construction (highly recommended).  These things can dramatically improve your finished result, to have the designer's personal attention and maintain the design intent.

Consultations:  For small areas or for homeowners who need a just a bit of design help, consultations can give great bang for your buck.  Services are billed per hour, starting with a 2-hour minimum.  Consultation with you and/or "your team," on site.

As a landscape designer under Oregon law, no construction details, irrigation plans, or engineering are offered.
